We are here to make your holiday personal and fulfilling

Just Chilling out here

A stay here with us can be as busy or NOT as you like.  It is a gloriously relaxing place to simply swing in a hammock reading, or to get up early and venture out to climb a mountain or visit temples and drink Singha in Chiang Mai.  Staying here for a week has so many benefits, not least the personal service we offer, with massage, guiding and day trips, retreat and eat.

Just chill!

Dining

Our basic offering to you during your stay with us is to provide you with breakfast and leave you to provide for yourselves for all other meals. We have well equipped kitchens to cater for most of your needs. Gas hobs, rice cookers, coffee makers, blenders, fridge/freezer and so on and there are supermarkets nearby which take credit and debit cards, Apple pay etc.

Local shops have all the ingredients you would expect, and the markets are also bursting with home cooked regional dishes which are well worth a try.

Restaurants are dotted about everywhere, including western cuisine such as Wine Connection for steaks and pizza/pasta, MacDonalds, Starbucks.

The plastic chair, side-street restaurants are also surprisingly good and excellent value.

Transportation

Whilst you are here, you may want to get about to see and do and eat.  We can arrange scooter hire (if your licence is good for that). We can also arrange for car hire (we drive on the left side here, same as UK, Australia, Japan, India and chunks of East Africa). Local operators can deliver a car to you here, and North Wheels in Chiang Mai offer a good selection and straight forward service.

For local trips to market we can take you in our motorbike and "sidecar" (we call it the truck) which is a traditional country-style mode of transport in the sticks.

Grab, the ride hailing equivalent of Uber, works very well here. Also, the ubiquitous "Songteouw" (a pickup truck with a converted rear end as a small bus) can be found on the main roads. You can even hire a car/van and driver for the day. Easy, really.

Massage

Moon is a highly respected practitioner of original Thai massage.  It is the sort which westerners find uncomfortable at first, but later you really come to appreciate the benefits.  It is a highly skilled art and Moon is a true artist.

Knowledge of anatomy, the connections within, where to treat.  Medicinal massage, but also relaxing.

It is a pleasurable experience too,

You can ask for a massage whilst you are here, timings are flexible depending on other commitments, and costs from just £20.

Day Trips

We have assembled a small menu of day trips which you can take from here.  All destinations/activities have been hand curated by us, meaning we have gone there, done that, approve and endorse.

Elephant day trips are the big draw for this area.  The local mountain area of Doi Inthanon is littered with camps, some ethically sound, others less so.  We can arrange for a great day out (at extra cost) with a journey of 1 hour from here to experience elephant husbandry and conservation. Choice of 3 destinations.

Temples, National Parks, ancient Lanna architecture, markets, craft centres, fishing, waterfalls, Karen Hill Tribe peoples, and more.

Details are included in your welcome pack in the house, together with all relevant informatin such as costs, timings, distances covered, meal plan etc.
